Written tributes for Candis' funeral booklet can be sent to info@candimundonking.com, no later than Sunday, October 12. 

The family asks that persons attending Candis' Celebration of Life wear shades of pink and no black. 

Cards or letters can be sent to Del. Mundon King, c/o Mayor Derrick Wood, 17739 Main Street, Suite 200, Dumfries, VA 22026.  

As Candis was looking forward to becoming a Spartan, the family asked that donations be made in lieu of flowers to a memorial fund established at Norfolk State University to support students living with sickle cell disease and advance awareness and education about the condition.

If you do choose to send flowers, please send them to Ames Funeral Home, 8914 Quarry Rd, Manassas, VA 20110 - (703) 368-2814. They have asked that the flowers please arrive by 3:00 PM on Tuesday, October 14th.
